三十一问：什么是有效的恩召？
答：有效的恩召是圣灵的工作（1），他使我们确知自己有罪，并处于愁苦之中（2），又光照我们的理性，使我们认识基督（3），更新我们的意志（4），就说服我们，使我们能够接受（5）在福音里白白赐给我们的耶稣基督（6）。

These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might,which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

"And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them. And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,

"Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.

耶 稣 说 ： 「 我 实 实 在 在 的 告 诉 你 ， 人 若 不 是 从 水 和 圣 灵 生 的 ， 就 不 能 进 神 的 国 。
Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
多3：5
他 便 救 了 我 们 ； 并 不 是 因 我 们 自 己 所 行 的 义 ， 乃 是 照 他 的 怜 悯 ， 藉 着 重 生 的 洗 和 圣 灵 的 更 新 。
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

若 不 是 差 我 来 的 父 吸 引 人 ， 就 没 有 能 到 我 这 里 来 的 ； 到 我 这 里 来 的 ， 在 末 日 我 要 叫 他 复 活 。在 先 知 书 上 写 着 说 ： 他 们 都 要 蒙 神 的 教 训 。 凡 听 见 父 之 教 训 又 学 习 的 ， 就 到 我 这 里 来 。
"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.
It is written in the prophets, 'AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.

for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

当 我 们 死 在 过 犯 中 的 时 候 ， 便 叫 我 们 与 基 督 一 同 活 过 来 。 你 们 得 救 是 本 乎 恩 。
even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
三十二问：有效蒙召的人今生享受什么福分？
答：有效蒙召的人今生享受称义（1）、得儿子的名分（2）、成圣（3），以及随之而来的各样福分（4）。

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure.
帖后2：13
主 所 爱 的 弟 兄 们 哪 ， 我 们 本 该 常 为 你 们 感 谢 神 ； 因 为 他 从 起 初 拣 选 了 你 们 ， 叫 你 们 因 信 真 道 ， 又 被 圣 灵 感 动 ， 成 为 圣 洁 ， 能 以 得 救 。
But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

你 们 中 间 也 有 人 从 前 是 这 样 ； 但 如 今 你 们 奉 主 耶 稣 基 督 的 名 ， 并 藉 着 我 们 神 的 灵 ， 已 经 洗 净 ， 成 圣 ， 称 义 了 。
Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

三十三问：什么是称义？

弗1：7
我 们 藉 这 爱 子 的 血 得 蒙 救 赎 ， 过 犯 得 以 赦 免 ， 乃 是 照 他 丰 富 的 恩 典 。
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace
(3)罗4：5；
惟 有 不 做 工 的 ， 只 信 称 罪 人 为 义 的 神 ， 他 的 信 就 算 为 义 。
But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,
3：22，24，25；
就 是 神 的 义 ， 因 信 耶 稣 基 督 加 给 一 切 相 信 的 人 ， 并 没 有 分 别 。
even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;
如 今 却 蒙 神 的 恩 典 ， 因 基 督 耶 稣 的 救 赎 ， 就 白 白 的 称 义 。
being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;
神 设 立 耶 稣 作 挽 回 祭 ， 是 凭 着 耶 稣 的 血 ， 藉 着 人 的 信 ， 要 显 明 神 的 义 ； 因 为 他 用 忍 耐 的 心 宽 容 人 先 时 所 犯 的 罪 ，
whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed;
林后5：19，21
这 就 是 神 在 基 督 里 ， 叫 世 人 与 自 己 和 好 ， 不 将 他 们 的 过 犯 归 到 他 们 身 上 ， 并 且 将 这 和 好 的 道 理 托 付 了 我 们 。
namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
神 使 那 无 罪 （ 无 罪 ： 原 文 是 不 知 罪 ） 的 ， 替 我 们 成 为 罪 ， 好 叫 我 们 在 他 里 面 成 为 神 的 义 。
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
(4)罗5：17-19
若 因 一 人 的 过 犯 ， 死 就 因 这 一 人 作 了 王 ， 何 况 那 些 受 洪 恩 又 蒙 所 赐 之 义 的 ， 岂 不 更 要 因 耶 稣 基 督 一 人 在 生 命 中 作 王 麽 ？
For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
如 此 说 来 ， 因 一 次 的 过 犯 ， 众 人 都 被 定 罪 ； 照 样 ， 因 一 次 的 义 行 ， 众 人 也 就 被 称 义 得 生 命 了 。
So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men.
因 一 人 的 悖 逆 ， 众 人 成 为 罪 人 ； 照 样 ， 因 一 人 的 顺 从 ， 众 人 也 成 为 义 了 。
For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.

我 们 既 因 信 称 义 ， 就 藉 着 我 们 的 主 耶 稣 基 督 得 与 神 相 和 。
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
徒10：43；
众 先 知 也 为 他 作 见 证 说 ： 凡 信 他 的 人 必 因 他 的 名 得 蒙 赦 罪 。
Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins."

既 知 道 人 称 义 不 是 因 行 律 法 ， 乃 是 因 信 耶 稣 基 督 ， 连 我 们 也 信 了 基 督 耶 稣 ， 使 我 们 因 信 基 督 称 义 ， 不 因 行 律 法 称 义 ； 因 为 凡 有 血 气 的 ， 没 有 一 人 因 行 律 法 称 义 。
nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,
三十四问：什么是得儿子的名分？
答：得儿子的名分是上帝的作为，出于他白白的恩典（1），使我们因此被纳入上帝众子的数目中，并享有作上帝儿子的一切特权（2）。

He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.

and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
三十五问：什么是成圣？
答：成圣是上帝的作为，出于他白白的恩典（1），使我们整个的人照着上帝的形象被更新（2），并得以愈来愈能向罪而死，向义而活（3）。

又 要 将 你 们 的 心 志 改 换 一 新 ，
and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
并 且 穿 上 新 人 ； 这 新 人 是 照 着 神 的 形 像 造 的 ， 有 真 理 的 仁 义 和 圣 洁 。
and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
帖前5：23
愿 赐 平 安 的 神 亲 自 使 你 们 全 然 成 圣 ！ 又 愿 你 们 的 灵 与 魂 与 身 子 得 蒙 保 守 ， 在 我 主 耶 稣 基 督 降 临 的 时
候 ， 完 全 无 可 指 摘 ！
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(3)结36：25－27；
我 必 用 清 水 ? 在 你 们 身 上 ， 你 们 就 洁 净 了 。 我 要 洁 净 你 们 ， 使 你 们 脱 离 一 切 的 污 秽 ， 弃 掉 一 切 的 偶 像 。
"Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
我 也 要 赐 给 你 们 一 个 新 心 ， 将 新 灵 放 在 你 们 里 面 ， 又 从 你 们 的 肉 体 中 除 掉 石 心 ， 赐 给 你 们 肉 心 。
"Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
我 必 将 我 的 灵 放 在 你 们 里 面 ， 使 你 们 顺 从 我 的 律 例 ， 谨 守 遵 行 我 的 典 章 。
"I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances
罗6：4，6，12－14；
所 以 ， 我 们 藉 着 洗 礼 归 入 死 ， 和 他 一 同 埋 葬 ， 原 是 叫 我 们 一 举 一 动 有 新 生 的 样 式 ， 像 基 督 藉 着 父 的 荣 耀 从 死 里 复 活 一 样 。
Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.
因 为 知 道 我 们 的 旧 人 和 他 同 钉 十 字 架 ， 使 罪 身 灭 绝 ， 叫 我 们 不 再 作 罪 的 奴 仆 ；
knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin;
所 以 ， 不 要 容 罪 在 你 们 必 死 的 身 上 作 王 ， 使 你 们 顺 从 身 子 的 私 欲 。
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts
也 不 要 将 你 们 的 肢 体 献 给 罪 作 不 义 的 器 具 ； 倒 要 像 从 死 里 复 活 的 人 ， 将 自 己 献 给 神 ， 并 将 肢 体 作 义 的 器 具 献 给 神 。
and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
罪 必 不 能 作 你 们 的 主 ， 因 你 们 不 在 律 法 之 下 ， 乃 在 恩 典 之 下 。
For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
8：4；
使 律 法 的 义 成 就 在 我 们 这 不 随 从 肉 体 、 只 随 从 圣 灵 的 人 身 上 。
so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
林后7：1；
亲 爱 的 弟 兄 阿 ， 我 们 既 有 这 等 应 许 ， 就 当 洁 净 自 己 ， 除 去 身 体 、 灵 魂 一 切 的 污 秽 ， 敬 畏 神 ， 得 以 成 圣。
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
彼前2：24
他 被 挂 在 木 头 上 ， 亲 身 担 当 了 我 们 的 罪 ， 使 我 们 既 然 在 罪 上 死 ， 就 得 以 在 义 上 活 。 因 他 受 的 鞭 伤 ， 你 们 便 得 了 医 治 。
and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed
三十六问：我们今生从称义、得儿子的名分和成圣得到什么益处呢？
答：今生从称义、得儿子的名分和成圣所得的益处乃是：对上帝慈爱的确信（1），良心的平安（2），在圣灵里的喜乐（3），恩典的增多（4），和在其中至终的保守（5）。

so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God
照 他 荣 耀 的 权 能 ， 得 以 在 各 样 的 力 上 加 力 ， 好 叫 你 们 凡 事 欢 欢 喜 喜 的 忍 耐 宽 容 ；
strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously
箴4：18；
但 义 人 的 路 好 像 黎 明 的 光 ， 越 照 越 明 ， 直 到 日 午 。
But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until the full day.
弗3：16－18；

that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man,

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,

你 们 却 要 在 我 们 主 ─ 救 主 耶 稣 基 督 的 恩 典 和 知 识 上 有 长 进 。 愿 荣 耀 归 给 他 ， 从 今 直 到 永 远 。 阿 们 ！
but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.

Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

三十七问：信徒死时从基督领受什么益处？

But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better;

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body;
所 种 的 是 羞 辱 的 ， 复 活 的 是 荣 耀 的 ； 所 种 的 是 软 弱 的 ， 复 活 的 是 强 壮 的 ；
it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;

and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.

凡 在 人 面 前 认 我 的 ， 我 在 我 天 上 的 父 面 前 也 必 认 他 ；
"Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven.
(3)罗8：29；
因 为 他 预 先 所 知 道 的 人 ， 就 预 先 定 下 效 法 他 儿 子 的 模 样 ， 使 他 儿 子 在 许 多 弟 兄 中 作 长 子 。
For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;

如 经 上 所 记 ： 神 为 爱 他 的 人 所 预 备 的 是 眼 睛 未 曾 看 见 ， 耳 朵 未 曾 听 见 ， 人 心 也 未 曾 想 到 的

亲 爱 的 弟 兄 阿 ， 我 们 现 在 是 神 的 儿 女 ， 将 来 如 何 ， 还 未 显 明 ； 但 我 们 知 道 ， 主 若 显 现 ， 我 们 必 要 像 他 、 因 为 必 得 见 他 的 真 体 。
Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.

以 後 我 们 这 活 着 还 存 留 的 人 必 和 他 们 一 同 被 提 到 云 里 ， 在 空 中 与 主 相 遇 。 这 样 ， 我 们 就 要 和 主 永 远 同 在 。
Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.
三十九问：上帝要人守什么本分？
答：上帝要人所守的本分乃是顺服他显明的旨意（1）。

"The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law.

世 人 哪 ， 耶 和 华 已 指 示 你 何 为 善 。 他 向 你 所 要 的 是 甚 麽 呢 ？ 只 要 你 行 公 义 ， 好 怜 悯 ， 存 谦 卑 的 心 ， 与 你 的 神 同 行 。
He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?
撒上15：22；
撒 母 耳 说 ： 耶 和 华 喜 悦 燔 祭 和 平 安 祭 ， 岂 如 喜 悦 人 听 从 他 的 话 呢 ？ 听 命 胜 於 献 祭 ； 顺 从 胜 於 公 羊 的 脂 油 。
Samuel said, "Has the LORD as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.

我 们 若 遵 守 他 的 诫 命 ， 就 晓 得 是 认 识 他 。
By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.
四十问：上帝起初向人启示了什么作为顺服他的标准呢？

in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them,
摩 西 写 着 说 ： 人 若 行 那 出 於 律 法 的 义 ， 就 必 因 此 活 着 。
For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on law shall live by that righteousness.
